Why Should I do permanent make-up?
Permanent make-up offers convenience and confidence. It’s ideal for busy people, athletes or anyone who wants to wake up looking fresh and natural. It’s also beneficial for those with alopecia, vision or mobility challenges, post-chemotherapy hair loss, breast reconstruction (areola re-pigmentation) or allergies to traditional cosmetics. The advantages are truly endless.
What is permanent make-up?
Permanent make-up involves implanting sterile, hypoallergenic pigments beneath the skin using single-use, disposable needles. It is important to note that although long-lasting, it is isn’t completely permanent. Pigments naturally fade over time due to sun exposure, skincare products and ageing thus, a colour refresh every one to two years keeps your results looking fresh and defined.

How long does the procedure take?
The procedure time varies depending on the area and your skin type.
Eyes: 45-60 minutes
Brows or lips: Up to 2 hours
Results typically last between one and five years, depending on your skin type, lifestyle and skincare routine. Regular colour boosts help maintain vibrancy and shape.
What is the difference between the hair-stroke , micro-blading and powdered/ombre technique?
The main difference lies in the resulting appearance Hair-stroke brows create a soft, natural-looking strokes that resemble real hair. Ideal for thin or spare brows. This method fades slightly faster and usually requires touch-ups every one to two years. Microblading creates a more natural, hair-like look using individual strokes, while powdered/ombre brows have a soft, filled-in, makeup-like finish that can be more defined or have a gradual gradient. Both are semi-permanent cosmetic tattooing techniques, but they differ in how the pigment is applied to achieve the final result.

What should I expect after the procedure?
Immediately after treatment, brows and lips may appear darker and more defined. Over the next five to fifteen days, the colour will soften to a natural tone. A touch-up session after four to six weeks allows for small adjustments in colour, shape and definition.
As a result of my technique, healing is quick with most clients only experiencing mild swelling.
Eyeliner typically holds its colour longer and may not require a touch-up.
Is it painful?
The procedure is generally comfortable. High quality numbing cream paired with the expertise of a trained professional and strict hygiene standards, permanent make-up is completely safe.
Are there any side effects or allergic reactions?
Side effects are minimal with the only observed effects being slight swelling of the lips (for 48 hours) and mild redness in patients with sensitive eyes (eyeliner procedures).
Allergic reactions are extremely rare (less than 1% of cases). Only top-quality imported pigments are used ensuring only the best results and highest level of safety.
Can I still have Botox, fillers or eyelash treatments?
Yes, with adequate timing:
- Botox: Two weeks before or after your appointment.
- Fillers: Six weeks before or after.
- Eyelash extensions: Remove them before eyeliner treatments and reapply once the area has fully healed.
- Eyelash growth serums: Discontinue use two weeks before and after the eyeliner procedure
When can I do areola re-pigmentation?
If you have undergone chemotherapy, radiation or mastectomy, please wait six months to one year before scheduling areola re-pigmentation.
Can it be removed or corrected?
Initial applications are done conservatively (it’s easier to add more colour than to remove it).
Some corrections are possible, but not all. A detailed consultation will help determine this as well as ensure that your preferences are clearly understood.
Poorly executed tattoos can be difficult or risky to remove, so it’s always best to have the procedure done correctly the first time.
What if I’m planning plastic surgery?
We recommend completing any cosmetic or plastic surgery before having permanent make-up applied.
